I have a skateboard and i want the wheels to go faster.?

i sprayed wd-40 in the wheels and bearings but it just made it slower. before the wd-40, the wheels would go really fast and keep spinning for quite a while. but now after i sprayed the wd-40, they Spin for a short time. i need help to solve this problem. how can i make the wheels spin for quite a while?
