PS3 HDD help. For experts only?

First off, the 1TB won't work on a PS3. You shouldn't really chance hard drives if they're not Sony brand because the system gets really finicky with them if they're not. Your best bet would be to back all of your data onto another drive, and clean out the PS3 HDD. Another option would be to upgrade to a 500 gb model, that would cost about $400 for the system.
