If Pacquiao retires and never fought Timothy Bradley, would his legacy always have an asterisk?
Absolutely not. Manny Pacquiao has fought everyone placed in front of him and has never dodged anyone. He fights whomever the fans want to see. Bradley has not been a very crowd pleasing fighter and quite puzzlingly has turned down a great career fight with Amir Kahn that had he won would have definitely put him in discussion to fight Pacman. It would be a good competitive fight but Bradley has yet to have that signature career launching fight that wins fans over. Nate Campbell was quick to find a way out of their fight and Devon Alexander simply disappointed everyone with his performance and Junior Witter seems to have been past his prime as he has continued to lose. Bradley needs to beat another big name fighter in a crowd pleasing way to bring demand from the boxing world for this fight.
