I was asked for ID to be over 21 to buy WD-40. Is this correct?

Yes because there are some sick and I mean sick people who huff stuff like paint and all kind of spray stuff to get high.It's making me want to throw up right now just thinking about it.I don't know why they can't do regular drugs like everyone else.
