Can I open my WD external storage on my PC?

Sometimes if you didn't do a proper shutdown or something while in Winodws the external devices fail to appear in MAC. You can fix this by going to windows again on the partitions which are giving you problem To do this open Command Prompt and type "chkdsk/f c:" without quotes. Here the 'c' is just an example of a driver letter, you must the correct one according to your system. Hope it helps.
