Do draft horses need shoes?

My draft horse (haflinger) does not need shoes, and I ride her on concrete and pavement as well. It depends on the horse that you're dealing with whether or not they will need shoes or not, so I would check in with your local farrier. It's always best to have them not shod, as there are health benefits to their hooves from going without shoes.
