Search query is hidden when using Google?

I desperately need some help. I am using an HTC Evo, using mobile view to use Google. As of this morning, when I am typing a question into Google on the main page, anything I type in is treated as if I am entering in a password. The letter and spaces I type are obscured with asterisks. I have made no changes that I am aware of, and this only happens with Google. That being said, I doubt it is a browser setting, rather a setting within Google. Has this happened to anyone else, and if so, how do I fix it?
